Experienced Tree Climber

Responsibilities:

Responsible for climbing, pruning and removing trees on residential and commercial properties. Must be able to safely operate a chain saw both on the ground and in the tree Must have experience in pruning trees using hand saws, pole saws, chain saws, and lopers Must have skills to remove and lower trees safely Ability to safely and efficiently operate bucket truck and/or spider aerial lift Ability to safety and efficiently Trim and/or remove trees by climbing with the aid of a safety belt, climbing line or aerial lift, or work from the ground using saws/pruners. Properly prepare, maintain and safely operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. Operate as part of a crew supporting the Crew Foreman. •There is room for growth with the potential of being a Foreman in time• Ensure excellent customer service and take pride in your work

Qualifications:

Climbing experience utilizing rope and saddle when pruning, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation and chipper operation. Experience with Aerial Lifts desired Familiarity with ANSI standards Standard Driver's License required. Commercial Driver's License's are a major advantage. Minimum experience - 2 years climbing experience. Experience with crew management, training, customer service, and safety procedures are highly valuable.
