Job Description
Lions Eye Bank of West Central Ohio is looking for motivated ocular recovery per diems. This position is primarily an on-call position traveling around the Miami Valley to recovery ocular tissue for transplant. Call pay is earned for each hour on call and case pay is earned for each case completed after comprehensive training. Per diems are responsible for patient data entry into our online secured database, traveling to recovery locations (hospitals, funeral homes, morgues, tissue recovery partners, etc.), sterile technique, and working alone as well as apart of a larger recovery team.
