Extinguisher Shop Technician

Extinguisher Shop Technician - This position could be full or part time (with a set schedule) As an Extinguisher Shop Technician, you will perform the required service and maintenance on fire extinguishers and will be responsible for the organization, operation, and cleanliness of Cline Fire's extinguisher shop.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform required service and maintenance on fire extinguishers, including recharging, testing, six- and twelve-year maintenance work Accurately complete required reports and paperwork for extinguisher service and maintenance records Perform routine/preventative maintenance on extinguisher shop test equipment Maintain the organization, operation, and cleanliness of the extinguisher shop Operate a company-provided vehicle to transport extinguishers between branch offices or to deliver to the customer Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while at work Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Employment Requirements:

Previous experience not required Ability to operate hand tools and lift and carry over 60lbs Valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to pass required licensing test (on-job training provided) Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and BMV check High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation:

Compensation will be based on an hourly wage for actual time worked. Pay for wages and benefits will be issued fortnightly through company payroll. This position is eligible for PTO, holiday pay, and tool reimbursement in accordance with Cline Fire's policies and the company-matched retirement plan offered by Cline Fire and may be eligible to enroll in the company health insurance plan (if working 30+ hours a week), but no additional benefits or compensations, whether directly stated or implied.
