Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tree Climber/Bucket Operator to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing tree care, trimming, and pruning tasks using specialized climbing techniques and bucket trucks. Your expertise will help ensure the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of trees and landscapes across various sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize technical skills like rigging and GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and contribute to maintaining beautiful, safe environments. Responsibilities Safely climb trees using proper rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal as needed. Operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts efficiently to access high branches and hard-to-reach areas. Conduct tree care assessments, including evaluating growth patterns, health, and potential hazards. Use GIS tools to map and document tree locations, health status, and maintenance activities. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping duties. Assist with rigging operations to secure large limbs or trees during trimming or removal projects. Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment like bucket trucks and ensuring all safety protocols are followed during operations. Experience Proven experience in tree climbing, tree trimming, or arboriculture with growing knowledge of horticulture principles. Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks or aerial lifts in a professional setting. Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe tree removal or limb lowering Strong understanding of safety procedures related to working at heights and operating heavy equipment.
