Now Hiring:
Landscape Installation Technician Full-Time Position If you enjoy working in flower beds, spending time outside, and creating and maintaining beautiful exterior spaces, you could be the candidate we're looking for. Chiles Enterprises is searching for full-time Landscape Installation Technicians to complete landscaping tasks including mulching, installation of plants, river rock, trees, shrubs, and other landscape features. The candidate should feel comfortable working by themselves as well as with a team as both scenarios are probable. This Team Member may also assist the company in any projects deemed necessary by management including, but not limited to, snow removal, leaf removal, excavation, and tree services. We will provide a company vehicle for you to travel to and from job sites as well as haul equipment and debris. Compensation All company benefits listed below are included alongside a competitive starting pay of $20.50-$26.50/hour depending upon experience. There is room for income growth and career advancement based on performance.This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 7:30AM-5:00PM. Evening/weekend work may occur in times of inclement weather, snow removal, or natural disasters. This position reports directly to the Landscape Installation Team Leader. Job Responsibilities Thoroughly follows direction from their Team Leader Completes all projects within established guidelines and timeframe Operates equipment, including skid steer and mini-excavator, in a safe and responsible manner Assists with taking care of equipment and conducting preventative maintenance Completes responsibilities and tasks safely and efficiently while following company policies and procedures Provides positive and constructive feedback to their Team Leader Maintains positive and responsive attitude to their Team Leader and all clients Operates trucks and truck-and-trailer combinations Helps Team Leader identify ways to improve work processes, efficiency, and quality Loads and unloads equipment and tools to and from work vehicles Takes pride in your work and the joy it brings to our customers Uses the company app to record progress throughout the day
Characteristics of Our Ideal Candidate:
Dependable and consistently at work on time Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate small- to medium-sized equipment, including skid steers and mini-excavators in a safe manner. Excellent attention to detail Strong work ethic Ability to effectively communicate and present information Willingness to work extended hours and allows for schedule flexibility when needed. On rare occasions, 24/7 availability may be required depending on the demands of natural disasters or snow removal operations. Current driver's license, acceptable and insurable driving record, and excellent personal safety record.
