Summary A Climber is vital in maintaining the health, safety and aesthetics of our clients' tall trees. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our mission of quality and professionalism while advancing your skills in arboriculture. Candidates must have at least 2 years of pruning and/or removal experience in compliance with I.S.A. and A.N.S.I. standards as well as experience in rigging and SRT/DRT. Candidates must have their own personal set of climbing gear including a harness and friction device. This position also involves driving Non-CDL trucks and towing trailers of varying sizes. Drivers must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a federal drug screening to be insured as a driver.

Responsibilities Responsibilities include:

Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as chainsaws and chippers safely and effectively. Balance aesthetics with tree health needs. Conducting and/or assisting with tree care and removal projects while ensuring safety standards are met. Maintain equipment and ensure work sites are clean and safe. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service. Follow all safety protocols and company policies including but not limited to ISA and ANSI standards. Polite and professional communication with customers. Safely operate a company truck to transport tools, materials, and personnel between the company shop and job sites.

Qualifications Required skills include:

Proven ability to safely and efficiently prune and remove tall treeswith at least 2 years of experience. Knowledge of ISA and ANSI standards and BMPs. Ability to operate equipment such as chainsaws, hedging shears, hand saws and hand pruners. experience with DRT/SRT. Strong work ethic with attention to safety. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Skills include:

More than 2 years experience. Experience working under an I.S.A. Certified Arborist. Non-CDL truck and trailer experience. CPR, BLS, First Aid training Other items which help pay rate include: ISA Certification CDL This position will require driving a company vehicle and occasionally towing trailers of various lengths while on the clock. For this reason, the applicant must have a valid US Driver's License with a clean record. Educational opportunities available.
