Single Subject:
Agriculture and a Specialist Instruction (Agriculture) credential. Must have EL Authorization. We accept full years of service credit. Liberty Ranch High School is seeking a hard-working, driven and motivated person who is passionate about inspiring students to get involved in agriculture and FFA. This is a full time, agriculture position.Teaching assignment will include:
Introduction to Ag Mechanics, Ag Construction 1, and Ag Construction 2. We are on an A/B 1.5 hour block schedule with three periods of teaching and one prep period per day. Competitive base salary schedule, FFA stipend, summer/extra pay opportunities available. Liberty Ranch High School is a newer program with a fantastic facility/shop, supportive administration, and community that understands the value of agricultural education. Teachers are actively involved in industry organizations and place great value on specializing in content areas to ensure students are receiving effective, high-quality classroom instruction. Additionally, we value good experiences for our students at both chapter level and above in FFA and SAE areas. The Liberty Ranch Agriculture program offers over 100 intra-curricular opportunities for students each year and we are looking for a person with the level of commitment to continue to foster experiences that allow students to prepare for life after high school. We have a great school and community and want to find a teacher who wants to be a part of our team.
