Job Description

Pay range: 21-31/hr
  • depending on experience The Agronomic Information Specialist is responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality technical agronomic content to support customer education and business objectives.
This part-time position (approximately 30 hours per week) focuses on authoring and editing agriculture-focused materials-including articles, guides, training manuals, and digital content-while ensuring scientific accuracy, clarity, and alignment with company standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of southern and southeastern U.S. cropping systems, with specific expertise in cotton production. This role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with subject matter experts, researchers, and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and impactful agronomic communications. Key Responsibilities & Core Attributes
  • Author technical agronomic content from concept through research, drafting, and final review
  • Develop and maintain articles, guides, training manuals, and online technical resources
  • Review and edit agronomic documents for clarity, accuracy, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style
  • Collaborate with technical writers, researchers, and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and alignment
  • Make revisions to technical documents or guide others in implementing updates as needed
  • Ensure all written content meets company standards, brand voice, and quality expectations
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting tight timelines within a part-time schedule
  • Develop, communicate, and adhere to content goals, workflows, and project deliverables
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail across all deliverables
  • Communicate effectively across teams, both written and verbal
  • Work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining consistent delivery and quality Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agricultural Communications, or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of southern and southeastern U.S. cropping systems
  • Direct experience with or strong knowledge of cotton production systems
  • Experience in technical writing, editing, or agronomic content development ???????
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work on time
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (e.
