Support retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows, including document ingestion, vector search, and knowledge retrieval experiences. Write, refine, and evaluate prompts while helping improve response quality, reliability, and safety. Integrate AI models and APIs into backend services and workflows using modern engineering practices. Assist with testing, observability, and evaluation efforts to help teams measure quality and performance. Experience exploring cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Interest in responsible AI practices, including bias mitigation, privacy, and safe deployment patterns. Academic, personal, or internship projects involving NLP, conversational AI, document search, or AI-assisted tools. Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar platforms. What You'll Need to Thrive A growth mindset and willingness to learn through experimentation and feedback. Comfort navigating ambiguity while staying focused on practical solutions and outcomes. Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams. Curiosity about how AI can improve experiences for educators, administrators, and school communities. A thoughtful and responsible approach to using emerging technologies.
