Job Description

Description We are looking for an AI Risk Management Administrator to be responsible for supporting both the establishment and ongoing operation of the enterprise AI governance and risk management framework. This role plays a key part in defining, implementing, and maturing AI governance structures while ensuring AI systems are developed, deployed, and operated in alignment with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, internal policies, and the organization's risk appetite. This role will partner with business, IT, legal, security, and compliance teams to operationalize governance processes, monitor AI risks, maintain documentation, and enable responsible, scalable AI practices across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise AI governance structures, including operating models, roles, committees, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Administer and maintain the AI risk management framework, including policies, standards, controls, and procedures.
  • Bridge governance strategy and execution by operationalizing AI policies and standards across technical and business teams.
  • Conduct and support AI system risk assessments across the full lifecycle (design, development, deployment, operation, and retirement).
  • Maintain AI inventories, model documentation, risk registers, and audit artifacts (e.g., model cards, data lineage, controls evidence).
  • Monitor compliance with internal governance standards and external regulations (privacy, security, ethical AI).
  • Facilitate governance forums and cross-functional reviews with legal, compliance, security, and audit teams.
  • Track AI risk metrics, incidents, and remediation efforts; deliver reporting to leadership and risk committees.
  • Support third-party/vendor AI risk assessments, including due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
  • Assist with training and awareness initiatives to drive adoption of AI governance practices.
Requirements Core Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, model governance, or technology risk management (specifically AI/model-related, not general IT risk).
  • Hands-on experience implementing or operationalizing governance frameworks (AI governance, model risk management, or data governance).
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML risks, including bias, explainability, model drift, data quality, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience working with AI regulatory frameworks and standards (e.
g., NIST
AI RMF, EU AI
Act, ISO/IEC AI standards, SR 11-7).
  • Proven ability to collaborate across technical (data science/engineering) and non-technical (risk, legal, compliance) teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field (AI, Data Science, Risk, or Information Systems).
  • Experience within highly regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, or manufacturing).
  • Familiarity with AI governance tooling, automation, or risk management platforms.
  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, or model validation processes.
  • Knowledge of enterprise risk management integration with AI governance frameworks.
  • Exposure to vendor risk management processes related to AI/ML solutions.
