Do you thrive on setting up different machines and nailing the first-article approval? Are you meticulous about safety—lockout/tagout, housekeeping, and reporting anything unusual right away? Do you enjoy switching gears between presses, swaging, laser marking, ovens, and more—while keeping everything to print? What You'll Do Own the setup and operation of assembly and marking processes in our Aircraft department, from prep to final checks: Sign out and set gauges to blueprint specs; verify fit, center, staking, stamping, and markings using sight, touch, and measurement tools. Run first piece, tune parameters to meet quality targets, and complete the setup approval documentation. Load parts, cycle equipment, and perform interval inspections—holding tolerance throughout the run. Wash parts as required, move materials to/from the work area and scale, and maintain machine fluid levels.

Machines & Processes You'll Configure Presses:

Change dies, pins, and staking/stamping/fit fixtures; install shims; adjust hydraulic pressure and stroke.

Laser Marker:

Swap fixtures, plates, rods, and spacers; select the correct program.

Inkjet:

Update formats, set track speeds, and toggle between rotary and track positions.

Electro-Etch:

Choose pins, pads, and solution; apply the right settings.

Ovens:

Set precise temperatures and timers.

Fit Operations:

Adjust fixtures, pins, and shims for accurate assembly. 2-

Piece Swage:

Install dies, pins, and bushings. Swage (Spherical Inserts): Configure dies, pins, shims, and springs.
