Job Requirements Jacksonville, NC Secret Polygraph not specified Senior Level Career (10+ yrs experience) Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Aircraft Mechanic III Job Description Jadin Tech, LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic III to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of aircraft airframe and engine systems to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and applicable technical standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive military aviation maintenance experience, including hands-on experience with CH/MH-53E, AH-1Z, UH-1Y, and/or V-22 aircraft (one or more required). This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced flight line environment. This position may require completion of an apprenticeship or FAA-approved Aviation Maintenance Technician program and requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Aircraft Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of aircraft airframes, engines, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose malfunctioning components and determine appropriate corrective actions
- Remove, repair, replace, and install aircraft components including control surfaces, landing gear doors, access panels, and rigging systems Technical Compliance & Documentation
- Utilize technical publications including Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Maintenance Instruction Manuals (MIMs), and Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs)
- Research, interpret, and comply with Technical Directives (TDs) for aircraft and components
- Accurately document all maintenance actions in accordance with regulatory requirements Tools, Equipment & Operations
- Properly identify and use hand tools, calibrated equipment, and special support equipment
- Operate ground support equipment in accordance with established procedures
- Interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical data
- Understand aircraft fluid, gas, hydraulic, and pneumatic system principles Safety & Compliance
- Follow all personal safety procedures and maintain situational awareness on the flight line
- Work safely in environments with aircraft, heavy equipment, loud noise, fumes, and outdoor conditions Quality Assurance & Team Collaboration
- Selected candidate will serve as a Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR)
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, team leads, and peers in a professional manner
- Accept and apply constructive feedback as part of continuous performance improvement Maintenance Types Performed
- Scheduled, Unscheduled, Special, and Phase Maintenance inspections as directed Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required
- Minimum of 8 years of aviation maintenance experience
- Minimum of 2 years CH-53 experience (USMC
MOS 6323
preferred)- Experience with at least one of the following aircraft is

◦ AH-1Z ◦ UH-1Y ◦ V-22 Clearance Requirements- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Must be eligible for access to government installation and Common Access Card (CAC) Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb ladders/stairs, and work in confined or elevated spaces
- Frequent use of hands for tools, equipment, and computer systems
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, dust, fumes, and aircraft environments
