Job Description

Bighorn Airways, Inc. is seeking a highly detail‑oriented and ethically grounded Aircraft Records Administrator to support our Quality Assurance function. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of aircraft maintenance records in accordance with FAA requirements. The Aircraft Records Administrator serves as a key gatekeeper of aircraft records and plays an essential role in supporting our Part 135 Air Carrier and Part 145 Repair Station operations. This position is well suited for an individual who values precision, accountability, and consistency in a safety‑sensitive aviation environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain and file aircraft records in accordance with company procedures and FAA recordkeeping and retention requirements Process internal and customer work orders and prepare required monthly reports Update aircraft times and cycles from flight logs to ensure accurate tracking of time‑limited components Assist with vendor audit scheduling, including issuing, reviewing, and filing vendor audits Pull, review, and distribute weekly maintenance forecast reports Follow and support compliance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and Repair Station Manual (RSM) as they relate to aircraft records Serve as a steward of records integrity and contribute to the development and improvement of records processes and workflows Maintain a zero‑error mindset through disciplined, repeatable procedures Complete tasks accurately and on time to prevent backlogs Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work environment Required Skills and Qualifications Demonstrated ethical conduct in a position of trust and regulatory compliance Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with WinAir maintenance software preferred Ability to manage repetitive, detail‑driven tasks with consistency and accuracy Ability to follow established procedures and accept supervisory direction in a regulated environment Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Prior data entry experience required Aviation maintenance or aircraft records experience preferred but not required Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position What We Offer Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match and supplemental insurance options Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Career growth opportunities in a safety‑driven, mission‑focused organization This position is subject to pre‑employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
