Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of aircraft. In this energetic and fast-paced role, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and execute repairs with precision. Your expertise will contribute directly to maintaining high standards of aviation safety and operational excellence. Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on aircraft airframes, engines, avionics, and related systems in compliance with federal aviation regulations and industry standards. Utilize schematics, CAD drawings, AutoCAD files, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Perform root cause analysis on mechanical or electrical failures to identify underlying problems and prevent recurrence. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, ohmmeters, ammeters, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure components meet strict specifications. Fabricate or modify parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, sheet metal techniques, soldering irons, and other fabrication tools to meet repair or assembly requirements. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) while adhering to AS9100 quality standards for aerospace manufacturing. Assist in the assembly or disassembly of aircraft components while following schematics and safety protocols; perform heavy lifting as needed safely. Extensive experience with aircraft maintenance procedures aligned with FAA regulations and aviation industry standards. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and CAD/CAM software such as CATIA or AutoCAD. Strong mechanical knowledge across airframe structures, power plant systems, avionics, and vehicle maintenance principles. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using multimeters (ohmmeters), ammeters, soldering equipment, calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently to identify faults within complex systems. Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication, welding (MIG/TIG), equipment repair, and assembly techniques. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and the safe operation of power tools and hand tools required for aircraft repair tasks. Knowledge of federal aviation regulations (FARs), AS9100 standards for quality management systems in aerospace manufacturing, and aviation safety protocols. Experience working with military-grade equipment or in military aviation environments is a plus.
