Nucor Steel Birmingham is seeking safety-minded, quality and cost driven applicants for the position of Rail Spike Shift Supervisor. This position will be responsible for growing and developing the team while safely guiding & directing all aspects of the rail spike process. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: encouraging and maintaining an operating culture focused on safety as it relates to behavior, procedures, and hazard awareness. The successful candidate will be working collaboratively to assure the best interests of Nucor are met, initiating a teamwork approach while motivating others to recognize and achieve growth opportunities. The qualified candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, vacation coverage, and holidaysSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications:
