In this role, you will be the face of our upscale private golf club dining experience, delivering personalized, attentive service that elevates every member's visit. Your expertise in fine dining standards, food presentation, and guest relations will create memorable moments that keep members returning time and again. Responsibilities Greet members warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with professionalism and enthusiasm Present menus, explain daily specials, and recommend wine pairings to enhance the dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement Serve food and drinks efficiently, adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards Assist with bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and maintaining a clean dining area to ensure a pristine environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions or concerns promptly Support team members with additional duties such as hosting or light food preparation when needed Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining service or upscale restaurant environments with a strong focus on Ala Carte service Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and billing processes Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and a professional appearance Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management Prior host/hostess or serving experience in fine dining restaurant environment is required Join us in creating extraordinary dining experiences where every detail matters!
