Chief Engineer Location:

Farmingdale, NY On-Site We are seeking an experienced Alignment Engineer or Chief Engineer to conduct skills evaluation and coaching for current and potential service providers. This role requires a strong background in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems , as well as experience managing vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with service provider recruiters, contract compliance professionals and experts from different trades to ensure that service providers are properly vetted and actively maintain critical licenses and certifications. Interview outside service providers to determine their strengths and areas of expertise so those service providers can be correctly assigned to maintenance or construction projects. Quickly build rapport and solid relationships with technicians from a variety of maintenance and construction trades. Demonstrate good organizational skills and persistence in connecting with service providers. Maintain accurate records of vendors and their skills. Respond to emergency maintenance situations outside of normal work hours.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in building systems maintenance Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA Universal Certification, Master Electrician, HVAC license) strongly preferred. Need to be well versed in areas of maintenance, operation, and repair of electrical systems, plumbing systems, and HVAC equipment. Proficient in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
