Job Summary We are seeking a Locator to join our team. As a Locator, you will be responsible for accurately identifying and marking underground utilities to prevent damage during excavation projects.

Duties:

• Use specialized equipment to locate and mark underground utilities such as gas, water, and telecommunication lines
• Interpret utility maps and plans to determine the location of underground infrastructure
• Communicate with construction crews to ensure accurate marking of utilities
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in various outdoor environments
• Document and report any discrepancies or issues with utility markings

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in utility locating is preferred but not required
• Ability to use locating equipment such as electromagnetic locators and ground-penetrating radar
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in marking utilities
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with construction teams effectively

Pay:

$16.00
