Person applying must be 21 years of age, as the position is located behind our bar and may require the creation of some cocktails/spirits. Job Summary Join our vibrant team as an AM Weekend Barista at our dynamic café located within a lively entertainment venue. Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using professional equipment such as espresso machines and coffee brewers Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to promote sales and enhance customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations, including proper food handling and food preparation procedures Manage cash register operations, including cashiering, basic math calculations, and cash handling procedures Assist with food service tasks such as serving baked goods or light snacks when required Ensure the café area is well-stocked, organized, and inviting for guests during weekend mornings Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and knowledge of café operations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Strong time management skills to handle busy weekend mornings smoothly Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences through quality beverages and friendly service.
