• Job Overview
• You'll be part of the Amazon warehouse team as an equipment operator - operating order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and other powered industrial trucks (PIT) to handle customer orders safely and efficiently.

You'll use PIT equipment to unload and load trailers, store pallets, and retrieve pallets throughout the warehouse. No prior experience required—Amazon provides all PIT training and certification for free.

• Basic Job Requirements
• 1.

Be 18 years or older 2. Understand and follow instructions in English 3. Lift up to 49 pounds 4. View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks 5. Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts 6. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around 7. Go up and down stairs (where applicable) 8. Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving PIT equipment 9. Operate PIT at heights up to 45 feet as part of daily work

• What You'll Do

Operate PIT — such as order pickers and reach trucks 2. Use PIT to locate, retrieve, and store large pallets of items in their designated warehouse locations 3. Handle large pallets of items through multiple warehouse processes, such as store and pick, while operating PIT 4. Operate a stand-up forklift throughout your shift, maneuvering safely around other PIT equipment in motion 5. Safely move items using carts, dollies, and pallet jacks while loading and unloading trailers 6. Use handheld technology to track and maintain accurate inventory records 7. Amazon provides all PIT training and certification for free, so no prior experience is required

• Relaxed and comfortable. Closed-toe shoes required. Protective safety footwear required in select areas.
