Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE
In an outpatient setting, supports standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others. They participate in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future. Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. They also participate in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes. May have responsibilities at the unit, program or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadership Ambulatory Wilmot Batavia Assistant Nurse Manager FT position, M-F, 40 hours, days Seeking an individual with demonstrated leadership experience to support a busy infusion practice within a regional cancer center. The Batavia Assistant Nurse Manager provides supervision, leadership, and direct patient care and is the liaison between the infusion center and onsite clinics. This role also facilitates supportive care referrals from other WCI centers. This position is an exciting opportunity to grow with the Wilmot Cancer Institute, gaining experience and exposure to our regional practices. This candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with proven leadership and follow up skills. Strong communication skills are necessary in order to collaborate with our community and hospital partners. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or enrolled in a BSN program or current certification.
