The Role We are hiring an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist to join our clinical team. This is a real seat at a real table — not a place to sit and rack up hours doing rote paperwork. You will carry a caseload, run groups, build treatment plans with your clients, and grow as a clinician inside a program that takes your development seriously. Supervision & Growth Our supervisors are clinically sound, experienced, and genuinely invested in your development. They believe in practice autonomy. They will not hand you a script and tell you to read it back to clients. They will give you the framework, the feedback, and the room to find your own clinical voice — while holding the line on quality, ethics, and what is actually best for the client. If you bring evidence-based modalities, lived experience, cultural perspective, or a creative therapeutic approach, we want to hear about it. New, exciting, and different approaches are welcome here — as long as they are grounded, ethical, and serve the client. What You'll Do Carry an individual caseload of adolescent and/or adult clients across our outpatient levels of care. Facilitate process and psychoeducational groups. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, build collaborative treatment plans, and update them as clients progress. Coordinate care with psychiatry, case management, family, and outside providers. Document clinical work in Kipu EMR — accurately, on time, and to the standard our accreditation and our clients deserve. Participate in weekly individual and group supervision, case conferences, and clinical training. Engage families thoughtfully; we treat the system, not just the symptom. Operate at all times within

Part 2, BBS regulations for associates, and GRC clinical policy. Who You Are Registered AMFT in good standing with the California BBS, actively accruing hours toward LMFT licensure. Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited program. Honest. We mean it. Honesty with clients, with the team, with supervisors, and with yourself about what you do and do not know yet. Integrity that shows up when no one is watching — in your documentation, your boundaries, and your clinical decisions. A self-starter. You manage your caseload, your notes, and your schedule without needing to be chased. Eager to learn and to grow with the team. You take feedback well and you give it well. Proficient in Kipu EMR. This is a hard requirement — we move fast in our documentation workflow and we need someone who can hit the ground running. Strong documentation discipline. Notes done on time, written clearly, defensible on audit, and useful to the next clinician who reads them. Comfortable with substance use and co-occurring mental health populations; experience or strong interest in adolescent and/or adult outpatient SUD treatment is a plus.
