First Tryon Advisors is an independent municipal advisory firm with a reputation for integrity, creativity, and trusted long-term client relationships. We serve a broad range of governmental entities and non-profit organizations in markets throughout the country. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and hard-working individual to join the firm's advisory teams in Annapolis, Maryland and Tampa, Florida. This is an ideal opportunity for a new college graduate or individual with 1-3 years of experience in finance. The candidate will serve as junior-level support to senior advisors within the firm. Responsibilities Assisting with the planning and execution of the firm's financings Performing bond calculations in Munex or DBC Formulating, building and utilizing the firm's propriety Excel models Preparing presentations/proposals/letters/memos in PowerPoint and Word Developing an in-depth understanding of the municipal bond industry Regular and professional interaction with clients (both in-person and via Teams or Zoom) Understanding and following industry regulations Maintaining records in DealCloud in collaboration with senior advisors Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, finance, public administration or related field Exceptional work ethic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a quick learner Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening) Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint The candidate will be trained to perform mathematical calculations related to the firm's municipal bond business using industry standard software from DBC, Munex and Adaje Claude and other AI experience a plus Series 50 a plus Compensation Competitive base salary based on unique qualifications Opportunity to earn year-end incentive compensation Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and life insurance Paid holidays and flexible time off To be considered for this position, please email your resume and cover letter to Chris Wienk (cwienk@firsttryon.com) and Robert Ryan (rryan@firsttryon.com).Similar remote jobs
