Description:
Contributes to the ongoing achievement of the organization's clinical, financial, and service goals through the application of clinical or operational expertise to material resource and change management. Applies knowledge to the established value analysis process; product utilization reviews and product change management processes' and serves as a liaison between System Pharmacy Logistics and Purchasing and local pharmacies. Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations to lead change, improving financial, clinical, and patient outcomes and facilitates interactions between clinical and non-clinical staff. Creates Purchase Orders (POs) for RX items, works with suppliers to order items, resolve invoice holds, and update purchase orders.Responsibilities:

Increase barcode scan rates, reduce medication errorsInventory Management:
Standardize on-hand med tracking, automate reorder triggersClinical Efficiency:
Streamline workflows, reduce time spent on manual processesCompliance:
Enhance readiness for audits (e.g., ISMP, Joint Commission)Data Analytics:
Create dashboards for leadership visibility into risk and wasteRequirements:
Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree preferred. Indiana Pharmacy Technician License is required. Pharmacy Technician National Certification is required. 5-7 years relevant experience is required. Requires working knowledge in business application computer skills, PCs, and Microsoft Office Suite. Absence of criminal history in regards to drugs is required. Full proficiency as a pharmacy technician is required.
