Under the supervision of the Principal, the successful candidate works to plan, prepare, and implement appropriate counseling support to students in small groups and individually. Responsibilities:

Plan and implement counseling program for high school students Monitor assigned student achievement and communicate between parents, students, teachers, and school staff Help students experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioral problems through counseling Facilitate external supports for students and families in need of additional supports Assist with academic scheduling and support administration with accompanying responsibilities related to scheduling Maintain records and perform other counseling department related duties as needed

Qualifications:

Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II School Counselor Prior experience preferred State Police Background Check, FBI Background Check, and Child Abuse History Clearance will be required when responding to this posting
