Position Summary The FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic performs inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft airframe, powerplant, and related systems. This role ensures all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company procedures, supporting overall aircraft safety, airworthiness, and operational reliability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft airframe and powerplant systems in accordance with approved technical data and maintenance manuals Inspect, service, repair, and replace aircraft components including engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, landing gear, and flight control systems Utilize engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, schematics, and IPCs to complete work assignments with minimal supervision Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical discrepancies and system malfunctions Conduct operational and functional checks to ensure system performance and airworthiness Remove and install aircraft components and assemblies in accordance with manufacturer specifications Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and support avionics systems as required Ensure all tools and equipment used are properly calibrated and maintained in accordance with company standards Participate in ground runs, engine runs, and taxi checks as required Assist with inspections including daily, weekly, service checks, and heavy maintenance events Accurately complete maintenance records, logbook entries, and required documentation in compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE in accordance with OSHA and company standards Collaborate with maintenance team members, inspectors, and other departments to ensure timely and efficient completion of work Job Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 737 aircraft experience required 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience (airframe and powerplant) Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics Must possess own tools (shadowed and etched) Certifications & Employment Requirements FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required Valid driver's license required Must pass DOT drug screening Must be able to pass a background check Pay and Schedule Hourly pay based on experience Monday-Friday, day shift
