MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS A AP/AR SUPERVISOR
As a new AP/AR Supervisor at EVCO Plastics, you can expect a structured Monday to Friday schedule, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the accounts payable and receivable teams, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. You will monitor cash flow, prepare financial reports, and conduct reconciliations to maintain precise financial records. Engaging in regular team meetings, you'll provide training and guidance to staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth. Additionally, you will liaise with vendors and clients to resolve inquiries and disputes, strengthening relationships and enhancing operational efficiency. Your proactive involvement in optimizing processes will keep the department aligned with company goals and standards.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS AP/AR SUPERVISOR JOB
To be successful as an AP/AR Supervisor at EVCO Plastics, candidates should possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, ideally supported by a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting is essential, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role to demonstrate leadership capabilities. Proficiency in accounting software and tools is crucial for efficient data management and financial reporting. Strong analytical skills will enable you to assess financial data and implement effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to foster collaboration within your team and with external stakeholders. Attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure accuracy in financial transactions and reporting, allowing you to meet both departmental and company objectives effectively. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Bachelor's degree in accounting business or related field preferred 5+ years of experience in accounting 1+ years of supervisory experience
