Apartment On-site Manager 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 3161 Cameron Park Drive, Cameron Park, CA 95682 $18.50 - $21.00 an hour - Part-time Aborn Powers 6 reviews $18.50 - $21.00 an hour - Part-time Aborn Powers is seeking an organized, dependable, and service-minded Apartment Resident Manager for a 36-unit apartment community in Cameron Park, CA. Aborn Powers is a real estate and property management company with a strong culture. Our mission is to "Serve God and our community by caring for those around us." We help each other, cheer each other on, and work hard to serve our residents, clients, coworkers, and communities well. We care about people, take pride in our work, and seek to make things right when mistakes happen. The Apartment Resident Manager will live on-site and assist with the day-to-day care and operation of the property. Responsibilities include communicating with residents, showing vacant units, placing lockboxes, assisting with applications, preparing standard leases with supervisor review, serving and preparing standard notices, completing move-in and move-out walkthroughs, performing small urgent repairs, changing locks when authorized, maintaining property inventory and storage areas, and helping monitor the overall condition of the property. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, good judgment, basic computer competency, and the ability to work well with people. Prior property management experience is a plus, but we are also open to a reliable, organized, and teachable candidate who is a strong fit for our company culture.
Responsibilities include:
Serve notices as directed by management. Prepare standard notices using company-approved templates. Create routine notices, including 24-hour notices to enter. Escalate complex notices or resident issues to the Property Supervisor. Show vacant apartments as needed. Place and remove lockboxes as instructed. Assist with rental applications, subject to final supervisor approval. Prepare standard leases with supervisor review and send approved leases for signature. Perform move-in and move-out walkthroughs. Communicate maintenance needs and property concerns to management. Perform small urgent repairs when appropriate and safe. Use and maintain the property-owned stocked toolbox. Change locks when authorized. Help manage keys, locks, and access control. Test pools or spas if applicable. Maintain storage facilities and property inventory. Monitor the property for cleanliness, safety, maintenance issues, and resident concerns. Communicate regularly with the Property Supervisor. Use the property-provided computer and printer for notices, documents, and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
Must be able to live on-site at the Cameron Park property. Valid California driver's license. Reliable transportation. Computer knowledge and competency. Ability to communicate professionally with residents, applicants, vendors, and supervisors. Strong written and oral communication skills. Good people skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Excellent team player. Organized and dependable. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to move about the property with ease. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
