The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Clinical Lead provides clinical direction, mentorship, and leadership to the APPs within their respective department or region. The APP Clinical Lead is accountable for providing structure and support in the onboarding, department training, and continuing education activities of APPs within their given department. They collaborate closely with APP system leadership as well as their respective department Operations leadership and Physician leadership. TheAPP Clinical Lead assists with day-to-day clinical operations, department staffing and scheduling, and APP compliance as appropriate. Position:

APP Clinical Lead -

ICU Shift:

Full Time, 40 hours/week

Experience:

1. 3-5 years APP clinical experience required. 2. Previous managerial or professional education experience preferred

Education:

1. Master of Science degree in a nursing or a physical science program from an accredited institution is required. 2. Must be a graduate of an approved nurse practitioner program, physician assistant program

Licensures/Certifications:

1. Must be certified or eligible for certification by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine and Licensure or licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) with appropriate certification 2. BLS certification required 3. May require ACLS certification 4. May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support) 5. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved
