THIS IS A DRIVING POSITION

• A DRIVER'S LICENSE IS REQUIRED

• Hiring Bonus of $500.00 after 6 months of employment.
• Other restrictions apply.

• MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO THE OUTER ISLANDS

• Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or similar vehicle to transport and deliver goods
• Load and unload furniture, appliances, and other items onto the truck using proper lifting and moving techniques
• Secure items in the truck to prevent damage during transportation
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
• Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instructions and updates
• Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and invoices, accurately and promptly
• Appliance Installation and Delivery Experience Preferred, but willing to teach the right person
• Follow protocol and delivery instructions
• Able to use a smartphone
• Must be at least 21 years old

Experience:

• 1 YEAR previous experience driving large vehicles including box trucks up to 20 ft. is required
• Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment such as dollys and hand trucks
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
