Roles & Responsibilities:

Travel to customer locations and perform maintenance/repair of appliances Proper use of all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle and diagnostic tools Conducts technical diagnosis and performs specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances Diagnose problems, assess the problem, document findings, and make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts Process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, first visit fix, productivity)

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license allowing the legal operation of a service vehicle in the state of hire. High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year experience repairing major appliances (laundry, cooking or cleaning products) or equivalent and successful completion of a recognized trade or tech school program. Refrigeration, sealed systems experience preferred. EPA certification is required to perform work on refrigerant sealed systems. Individuals hired for a position is expected to perform repairs on refrigerant sealed systems or handle refrigerants must have a valid EPA certification or successfully obtain the appropriate EPA certification within 30 days of hire. Experience and ability in the use of various hand tools, diagnostic and test equipment to perform repairs on major appliances. Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be physically fit enough to lift and carry heavy equipment. You may be required to crouch or squat to work on equipment for extended periods of time. Communication skills
