Responsibilities Engage with customers both inside the store and through outside sales efforts to understand their renovation needs and present suitable appliance and cabinetry options. Conduct product demonstrations, including layout design, lighting design, and remodeling solutions, utilizing tools like SketchUp or CAD to visualize projects. Develop detailed proposals that include upselling premium features or complementary products such as lighting fixtures or custom cabinetry to maximize sales opportunities. Manage account relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Assist customers with inside sales transactions, POS operations, cash handling, and retail math calculations to ensure accurate processing. Support merchandising efforts by stocking displays, maintaining organized product presentations, and executing marketing initiatives to attract clientele. Collaborate with clients on project planning, including renovation timelines, construction coordination, interior design concepts, and maintenance considerations. Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the home improvement or remodeling industry; high-end sales experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of appliances, cabinetry, lighting design, layout design software (such as SketchUp or CAD), and remodeling processes. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with organizational abilities to manage multiple accounts effectively. Multilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly and professionally. Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, merchandising techniques, and basic math calculations required for accurate transactions. Knowledge of construction, interior design trends, renovation procedures, and maintenance practices enhances your ability to serve clients comprehensively.
