Application Architect#26-05782 Pennington, NJ On-site Contract Starts 7/27/2026 Ends 7/26/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Hadoop Developer for an Onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for developing and deliveringplex requirements to aplish business goals. Key responsibilities include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, andpliance requirements. This role codes solutions, performs unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application and system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements Participate and guide the team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria andpliance requirements Utilize multiple architecturalponents (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements Assist the team with resolving technicalplexities involved in realizing story work Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause Document andmunicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality Participate, contribute, and coach team members in the delivery/release (CI/CD) events such as branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, and release notes

Requirements:

Experience with Hadoop Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and SQL environments Familiar with development and testing best practices Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
