Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Front Office Quartz Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking a front-office developer to join a development team focused on a global risk platform. This role involves developing solutions in Python for product pricing, data feeds, and implementing new strategic initiatives on the Quartz platform. The position will provide exposure to complex interest rate products through the use of quantitative analytics libraries and interaction with users globally across Trading, Middle Office, Finance and Risk Management.

Responsibilities:

Implement pricing, risk, and trading system solutions for the Trading Desk Leverage strategic technologies for next-generation pricing and risk management system-based solutions Capture, analyze, and document business requirements from business partners Work closely with the Trading Desk, Quants, and Technology groups to extend analytics to meet ongoing business needs

Requirements:

Strong Python skills Experience with the Quartz platform Rates business knowledge (risk, pricing, yield curve and inflation curve construction) Experience with Interest Rate Derivatives and bond trading systems Experience with Front Office environments Excellent communication skills and good attention to detail Ability to work on large-scale IT projects with interaction with numerous teams and clients Desired skills: Ability to manage a project end-to-end Knowledge of FICC and Derivative Operations Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
