Duties Conduct comprehensive property inspections, gathering detailed data on physical characteristics, location, and condition using tools such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software. Analyze market trends, comparable sales, and financial information to determine property values accurately. Utilize appraisal software to enter data and adjust for market trends. Stay current on industry best practices, updates in real estate appraisal standards, and changes in state regulations affecting property valuation. Requirements Proven experience in real estate appraisal or related fields such as accounting, construction, or tax assessment. Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including financial analysis, report writing, and data collection techniques. Familiarity with construction processes and building valuation methods. Experience with GIS tools and geographic data analysis is highly desirable. Ability to perform quantitative research and apply mathematical principles accurately.
