AR Accountant

Description We are seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) AR Accountant to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Houston, TX, with a strong focus on Global Shop ERP. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone with hands-on Global Shop experience who can manage accounts receivable while supporting production and operational workflows within the system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable in Global Shop, including invoice creation, cash application, and account reconciliations
• Ensure billing accuracy within Global Shop, process credit memos, and resolve customer discrepancies in partnership with Sales and Project Managers
• Monitor AR aging, drive collections, and reduce outstanding balances using system reporting
• Utilize Global Shop to maintain accurate job files, track production schedules, and support offsite project coordination
• Generate and analyze financial and operational reports such as utilization, work-center efficiency, and job costing metrics
• Partner with Treasury to support cash flow forecasting through timely and accurate cash application
• Assist with payroll processing, reporting, and employee onboarding tasks using ADP or Paychex
• Support office operations including vendor management, documentation, and process improvements

Requirements Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Global Shop ERP in a manufacturing or job shop environment
• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, or production accounting
• Strong understanding of AR processes, aging, and cash application within an ERP system
• Experience with journal entries, general ledger support, and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables for reporting and analysis
• Familiarity with ADP or Paychex payroll systems
• Bilingual in Spanish and English with strong communication skills
