Now Hiring a Full-time Physical Therapist at Arbor View Nursing and Rehab in Cedar Hill, MO! Competitive rates, & flexible schedule offered! Arbor View Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team! The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in skilled nursing setting, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. This role involves working closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and various therapeutic techniques. New-Grad Friendly! PRN position also available! Responsibilities Assess patients' physical abilities and limitations through comprehensive evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals, incorporating evidence-based practices. Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and overall function. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices. Qualifications Bachelor/Master/Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PT in MO Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physical therapy practices. Experience in skilled nursing settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with discharge planning processes to facilitate smooth transitions for patients. Background in treating geriatric populations is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
