Arborist / Aerial Lift Operator GE Tree Service | Petersburg, IN | Full-Time About the Role GE Tree Service is seeking a hardworking and dedicated Arborist / Aerial Lift Operator to join our crew. This role is ideal for those who enjoy physically demanding work in the great outdoors and have a strong interest in tree care and aerial lift operation. You will be responsible for precision tree maintenance and removal while ensuring the highest safety standards for our team and clients.

Key Responsibilities Aerial Lift Operations:

Safely operate aerial lifts and other heavy machinery for tree maintenance and site logistics.

Precision Tree Care:

Perform expert tree trimming, pruning, and removal using industry-standard techniques.

Safety Excellence:

Follow strict safety protocols and conduct routine inspections of aerial lifts and gear to ensure a safe work environment.

Collaboration:

Maintain clear communication with team members and clients, and assist with emergency tree removal as needed.

Documentation:

Accurately complete necessary paperwork and equipment maintenance logs on time.

Qualifications Experience:

Prior experience operating aerial lifts and tree care equipment is not required ; we are willing to train the right candidate.

Licensing:

Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or the ability to obtain one within six months of employment.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting and climbing, in various weather conditions.

Safety Mindset:

Strong understanding of safety practices within tree service operations.

Character:

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a reliable team player.

Compliance:

Ability to read/write well, pass a pre-employment drug test/background check.
