Arcade Attendant

Join Our Team as an Arcade Attendant! The Blue Ghost Arcade is looking for an energetic, outgoing team member to join us as a part-time Arcade Attendant for the spring and summer season. This is a temporary position through the end of the summer, with the opportunity to stay on longer based on performance and business needs. About Blue Ghost Arcade We're a retro arcade and bar located in Downtown Woodstock, featuring 50+ arcade and pinball machines, 200+ board games, and modern gaming consoles. We're more than just an arcade — we're a community hub that hosts weekly trivia, Dungeons & Dragons sessions, gaming leagues, karaoke nights, birthday parties, and private events. As our events calendar continues to grow, we're looking for someone who thrives in a high-energy, guest-focused environment. What You'll Do Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for guests of all ages Build relationships with regulars and members Speak confidently in front of groups (birthday parties, karaoke, events) Assist with event setup, execution, and hosting Work the register and handle guest check-ins Answer phones and assist with party inquiries Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the arcade Perform basic troubleshooting on games and consoles Support birthday parties and private rentals What We're Looking For Positive, outgoing personality Strong communication skills (especially in front of groups) Comfortable working with kids and families Dependable and adaptable under pressure Willing to take initiative and jump in where needed Availability Friday evenings and Saturdays (required) General tech comfort; gaming knowledge is a big plus You'll Stand Out If You're interested in hosting Dungeons & Dragons sessions You enjoy leading events and building community You're passionate about gaming culture
