We are seeking students interested in archaeology to fulfill a semester internship. This role involves learning how to process and curate artifacts recovered from cultural resource surveys across the Commonwealth of Virginia. No prior experience is required.

Qualifications:

Must have a strong attention to detail Must have an interest in archaeology, anthropology, or museum studies Must be able to provide their own transport to the Archaeology Materials Laboratory at Historic Sandusky in Lynchburg Previous classes focused on introduction to archaeology or archaeology lab methods preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:
