Senior Project Architect Shape Communities Through Purposeful Design A growing architecture practice is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead and deliver impactful justice architectural projects in Montgomery, Alabama. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment focused on design excellence and meaningful community impact. Your Role As a Senior Project Architect, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality architectural solutions for justice-focused projects. You'll oversee technical execution, manage project teams, and ensure successful outcomes from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage project teams within a collaborative architectural framework Oversee technical design, documentation, and delivery of justice architectural projects Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple offices Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules Produce and review full project documentation, including specifications and manuals Guide and mentor architects, technicians, and support staff Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and public stakeholders Present design concepts and project updates in meetings Apply architectural best practices across civic, academic, and healthcare environments Balance multiple projects while ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction What You Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (accredited program) 10+ years of professional architectural experience Licensed Architect or NCARB certification in progress/completed Advanced proficiency in Revit and complementary design tools Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Sound judgment and decision-making ability A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional projects About the Practice This architecture practice operates as a collaborative community of planning and design professionals with a strong client-focused approach.
