RFRM Collective is seeking a Project Architect or experienced Architectural Staff member to support the construction documentation and project delivery of high-end custom residential work. This position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager and is suited for someone with 3-5 years of experience who is technically capable, detail-oriented, and looking to take on greater responsibility within a focused practice. Licensed applicants and those working toward licensure are both encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Produce and coordinate construction documents for custom residential projects under the direction of the Senior Project Manager Prepare project specifications and compile relevant technical data Perform design analyses, planning studies, and occupancy reviews Develop limited design layouts and detail development Coordinate with consultants and review completed drawings, reports, and calculations for accuracy Assist with permitting submissions and respond to plan check comments Support construction administration including RFIs and submittal review Qualifications Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program 3-5 years of professional experience in architecture Licensure required for Project Architect title; unlicensed candidates considered for Architectural Staff Experience in custom residential preferred; familiarity with high-end finishes and building systems a plus Working knowledge of California building codes and permitting processes Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on assigned tasks Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Healthcare stipend Paid holidays and vacation Continuing education opportunities Additional Requirements US Citizenship or permanent resident status Los Angeles resident (no remote positions available) To Apply Please submit your resume and work samples (PDF) to [email protected] .
