Job Description

Architect Employer:
Westport, CT, US Location:

Full-time Type:
Intermediate Architect - Mission-Driven Studio, Westport, CT with Projects through NYC Metro & Connecticut We're a boutique architecture firm where every project has a purpose. From affordable housing and schools to community centers, senior living, municipal facilities, and places of worship — we do work that genuinely matters to the people who use it. We're a small, tight-knit team, and we're looking for an intermediate architect who wants more than a paycheck. About the Role You'll work closely with the firm's principal and clients across all phases — from schematic design through construction administration. This isn't a support role. You'll have real ownership of projects and build lasting relationships with clients who are deeply invested in their programs and communities. You're a great fit if you: Have 4-10 years of architectural experience Are licensed (preferred) or actively pursuing licensure (required if not licensed) Are proficient in Revit Can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, lean environment Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, contractors, and colleagues Have experience with — or a genuine interest in — civic, nonprofit, or community-focused work Thrive in a small studio culture where craft matters more than volume What We Offer Meaningful work with visible, real-world impact True project ownership from day one Competitive salary and flexibility A collaborative, values-driven team that prioritizes quality over quantity If you care about who you're designing for as much as what you're designing, we'd love to hear from you.
