Fowlkes Studio, architecture and interior design firm in DC, is looking for a motivated, talented designer with 5+ years of experience in an architecture firm setting. Applicants should have a strong interest in residential architecture and interior design, however, those with corporate and institutional backgrounds are encouraged to reach out. Candidates should be prepared to take on primary responsibilities for complex projects that require coordination between multiple consultants, polished client presentations, knowledge of building construction and a sharp eye for detail. From feasibility to construction administration, Project Leads should be attuned to the "big picture" of a given project and should be able to independently determine the most effective way of moving it toward completion. This requires self direction and creative problem solving. It is paramount that applicants are comfortable communicating directly with clients and our trade partners. The studio strives to do carefully crafted projects that intelligently respond to program and site and celebrate the personalities of our clients. We are located near Dupont Circle in Washington D.C.
