Project Architect

The Encompass Group is partnering with a design/build firm dedicated to serving churches, ministries, schools, and mission-driven organizations through innovative architectural and construction solutions. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Project Architect to lead the production and coordination of architectural projects from concept through construction. This role is heavily focused on production, documentation, technical detailing, and quality control while collaborating closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Revit , experienced in construction documentation , and passionate about delivering thoughtful, high-quality solutions that support ministry-focused environments. Key Responsibilities Lead the production and coordination of architectural drawing sets with a focus on accuracy, constructability, and quality. Develop, review, and redline detailed construction documents across all project phases. Manage Revit production standards and workflows to maintain consistency and efficiency. Oversee quality control reviews, including code compliance and technical coordination. Draft, edit, and publish project specifications. Coordinate with internal design, engineering, and construction teams, as well as external consultants. Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning requirements, and ADA standards. Assist with project scheduling and monitor deadlines to ensure timely deliverables. Participate in client meetings and attend site visits as needed. Qualifications Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure. Professional degree in Architecture. 5-8+ years of experience in architectural production and construction documentation. Advanced proficiency in Revit required ; experience with AutoCAD and technical detailing preferred. Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and code compliance. Experience coordinating complex drawing sets with multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Alignment with the company's faith-based mission and values. Preferred Experience Experience working on faith-based, nonprofit, or institutional projects. Familiarity with design/build project delivery methods. Knowledge of church programming and ministry-focused environments. Commitment to continual improvement and production excellence.
