Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead construction oversight, inspection, and quality assurance activities Provide technical review of design documents, submittals, and change orders Monitor project schedule, cost, and progress; recommend corrective actions Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and construction documentation Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and government representatives Support budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking of project activities Lead meetings, prepare minutes, and manage project communication logs Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (VA, FAR, NFPA, OSHA) Mentor team members and provide senior-level technical guidance Qualifications to be successful in the role: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or 14 years of directly related experience in lieu of bachelor's degree Licensed Architect or Engineer in the State of Florida Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects Experience with chiller utility plants in federal or healthcare facilities preferred Strong knowledge of construction documents, scheduling, and cost management Demonstrated knowledge of VA standards, FAR, NFPA, and OSHA requirements.
