  • Construction Administration & Site Lead serves as the lead technical and field-facing representative during the construction phase of projects.
This role bridges the design team, consultants, contractors, and ownership groups to ensure the design intent is accurately executed in the field while proactively identifying and resolving construction-related issues. Primary Responsibilities Lead Construction Administration efforts for assigned projects Serve as the primary architectural lead during construction phases Attend and lead site visits, OAC meetings, and field coordination meetings Review and respond to RFIs, ASIs, submittals, shop drawings, material samples, and substitutions Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal design teams Identify field conflicts and propose practical solutions while maintaining design intent Monitor construction progress and document site observations Maintain CA logs and project records Review contractor payment applications and punch lists Coordinate drawing revisions and consultant updates when required Mentor junior architectural staff supporting CA efforts Travel as required for project site visits Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture 10-15+ years of professional experience Strong Construction Administration and field experience Extensive experience with luxury residential, hospitality, or high-end commercial projects preferred Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, detailing, and documentation Ability to read and review consultant and shop drawings efficiently Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams Licensed architect preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Miami, FL Based Preferred Traits Sensitivity toward highly-refined architectural details and innovative solutions Strong presence with contractors and clients Highly organized under fast-moving conditions Able to make field decisions confidently Maintains design quality while balancing constructability
