  • Team Lead to provide architectural leadership and oversee project teams across all phases of design and construction.
This role blends technical expertise, client leadership, and team management . The ideal candidate will guide architectural teams through complex projects while ensuring design excellence, regulatory compliance, and successful project delivery within budget and schedule. Key Responsibilities Design & Technical Leadership Lead architectural design efforts from conceptual design through construction administration. Ensure design solutions align with client objectives, technical requirements, and budget constraints. Review and approve construction documents, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and quality. Coordinate integration of structural, MEP, and other building systems into architectural designs. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards. Team Leadership & Mentorship Manage and mentor architects, designers, and support staff. Provide guidance on design challenges, technical detailing, and documentation standards. Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Conduct quality control reviews at key project milestones. Client & Project Management Serve as primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain clear communication regarding schedule, budget, and scope. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and financially responsible project delivery. Oversee construction administration activities including site visits, submittal reviews, and responding to RFIs. Lead project closeout processes including punch list coordination and post-occupancy follow-up. Business Development & Market Presence Participate in proposal development and client presentations. Support business development initiatives and help expand market relationships. Represent the firm at industry events, networking engagements, and client meetings. Required Qualifications Licensed Architect (RA) Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture 8-10 years of professional architectural experience Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and projects Preferred Qualifications Experience leading large or multidisciplinary projects Project management certification (PMP or similar) Strong background in complex commercial, mixed-use, or institutional projects Core Competencies Knowledge Architectural design principles and construction methodologies Building systems coordination Local building codes and regulatory processes Project scheduling and budgeting fundamentals Quality control and documentation standards Skills Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Financial awareness related to project performance Advanced problem-solving and technical detailing skills Abilities Lead multidisciplinary teams through complex project phases Manage multiple projects concurrently Balance design quality with schedule and budget expectations Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders Why This Role This opportunity is ideal for a senior architect ready to: Operate as a true team leader Take ownership of projects and client relationships Contribute to a collaborative and growth-oriented firm Influence design direction and mentor emerging professionals
