The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of full-time experience. In this pivotal role, you will lead architectural projects from conceptual design through construction, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability. Your expertise will drive innovative solutions, manage project timelines effectively, and foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants. The Firm From it's rigorous design philosophy to its focus on client relationships, Eck MacNeely has been a respected architecture firm in Boston since 1976. Custom residential and private school design are the firm's foundation. It is currently a mid-sized design studio located in a vibrant, open office in Boston's creative SOWA district. As a collaborative firm, each team member is essential to the success of the practice. Responsibilities + Skills Lead and coordinate architectural design processes, ensuring alignment with client goals, building codes, and industry standards. Manage and develop detailed construction documents using Revit. Manage multiple project schedules diligently to meet deadlines while maintaining quality control throughout all phases of design and construction. Oversee construction administration activities including site visits, progress meetings, and resolving field issues. Prepare accurate construction estimates and budgets; collaborate with contractors during negotiations to optimize project costs. Engage in business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and fostering client relationships to secure new projects. Coordinate with project teams on project management tasks such as scheduling, resource allocation, and contract administration.
