Project Architect

Niagara Murano - a creative Award winning Rochester Michigan architecture firm seeks a licensed architect or non-registered graduate with 4 or more years' experience with design sensibilities responsible for design and technical development of projects for work on a wide range of building types including, higher education, healthcare, hospitality, retail, sport, and commercial, throughout Michigan and the Midwest. Architect will work directly with the principal assisting in all project stages, from design to construction documents and construction administration. Architect should possess strong technical, design, and communication skills with in-depth SketchUp, Lumion, AutoCAD, Revit, & Photoshop experience and desire to develop great ideas into reality. Candidate should have an interest in taking an active and collaborative role in the daily and long term operations of the firm.

Requirements include:

Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture 4 or more years of professional architectural office experience Ability to communicate design ideas to clients using SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion etc. Strong Proficiency in developing construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD. Excellence in production and technical skills Experience in working on and developing a coordinated set of construction documents Desire and ability to learn to assist with all or most phases of a project from research and concepts to design and construction documents, detailing and construction administration. Hard working and motivated with a desire to work together towards maximizing the firm's potential for innovative design and long lasting meaningful personal relationships. Focused, articulate, well organized, detail oriented and personable Good written and verbal communication skills Desire and ability to develop direct relationships with Clients Design and Construction Documents for variety of project types.
